Had an amazing experience here, very kind and helpful staff. Super convenient location, you don’t have to carry the kayaks, just walk a short distance down to the dock and they help you load them in the water. Their dock is equidistant to the downtown skyline / bat bridge and also green belt & nature scenery area. Reasonable pricing. Both the single and tandem kayaks had a built in back rest which is absolutely essential for those with a bad back. Made things so much more comfortable. This will be my go-to rental spot from now on!

A fantastic place to rent Kayaks from. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and the pricing per hour is pretty reasonable. Also, views from Lady Bird Lake will not disappoint. This is now my go-to for renting Kayaks in Austin!

You certainly have options out on the lake, but I will be going back and renting from them again and hopefully schedule one of their bat tours. The dock is a short walk from the office, and the workers were professional in their interactions with us

Best paddleboard/canoe/kayak shop on Ladybird Lake. Wonderful and helpful staff will get you fixed up on whatever board/boat you want. They also have lockers, drinks, changing rooms and a rest room. Their guided bat tour is also so much fun. Highly recommend that foe those who want to paddle out and see the bats fly from the water.

Had a great time doing the evening bat tour with our guide John! We had a smaller group but were able to go at our own pace and still get to listen in on all the bat facts with the group once we met up by the bridge. Very unique experience and fun way to get out of the heat in August!

My girlfriend and I used Live Love Paddle to rent single person kayaks this past weekend, for our first time getting out on the water here in Austin. We could not be more pleased with the experience!!! Hiiaka and Quinn were the employees that helped us out and they had very positive attitudes, informed us to our satisfaction, and generally left us with a great experience. Love them! The drop in point also is in a perfect position, with equal length trips towards the city (to the left) and towards a nature area (to the right) that includes a cool island to explore and a rope swing!

Did the bat tour and had an awesome time! Our guide was super nice and relaxed and everybody else too. Beside the bats the views of the city are spectacular and riding back in the night on the calm river was an awesome experience. Went with our two kids (5 & 6 years) and it was no problem for them. Highly recommend Live Love Paddle!!

It was fun renting from Live, Love, Paddle. It was disappointing on July 4th that the bats didn’t come out, but that’s not the company’s fault. I will warn those who are not somewhat physically fit, if you plan to go to congress bridge for the evening bat showing, buckle up lol. It’s a TRECK going back (against the slight current)
