Wow! Best mloukhia I've found anywhere other than my grandma's kitchen. The hummus with beef is literally best hummus I've ever had. My husband said he wouldn't be surprised if the kitchen was filled with Lebanese grandmas and I think hes spot on. Also the service is particularly good! Waiters and waitresses were very attentive and not pushy or annoying if that makes sense. I'll be back like tomorrow.

As a fan of Lebanese cuisine I had been told about the new opeining of Yara in NYC Being a bit time shifted I stopped in early for a small plate early dinner... fantastic Lebanese authentic cuisine and also some fine Lebanese wine (who knew!?) Food was really great. We had the spicy sausage appetizer, filet skewer, kefta skewer and okra dish. All were very good. The owner (we think) came out to check on us, gave us recommendations and was truly very nice. He has really done a great job aesthetically, and raising the bar for the menu. The only small issue we had was our waiter (tall guy with a goatee) was less than attentive and lacked personality. However, the owner more than made up for the waiter's short comings.

Very nice Mediterranean restaurant. We came for lunch and they had a decent crowd. Maybe like ten tables so I figured it would be good. We had the Yara salad and two sandwiches: kefta and chicken shwarma. They come in a grilled pita and are very delicious. It looks like a small-ish sandwich, but it is very filling. The server was also nice and the decor is inviting.

The food was incredibly well presented, deliciously and unique. I wanted to order something unique and could not be found somewhere else. The owner recommended us chicken liver, Lebanese sausage, and a feta dish, and they turned out surprisingly tasty. Their Lebanese ice cream has three different flavors, all unique and refreshing, you can even taste the strawberry seeds in the strawberry ice cream. The Lebanese milk pudding was fluffy, light, and aromatic. We had pleasant conversations with the owner. He was very hospitable and interesting, sharing with us his stories traveling around the world. Will definitely come back and try other dishes. Me and my son visited for dinner and we had an absolutely amazing time. The interior is classy and fresh and service was absolutely wonderful! They made every effort to make my son feel at home. The service was a bit sluggish on a Monday holiday even though the restaurant wasn’t full. BRAVO. We don't get to new restaurants often enough and as our granddaughter and fiance recently moved to 52nd Street and First Avenue and found Yara we went last night. There were five of us and we each ordered a couple of small plates which we shared as appetizers and entrees. Everything was terrific. Our plan is to return and eat through the menu then pick the 5 or 6 things we like best and focus on them going forward. I particularly liked the fallafel and the bread pudding squares that came with the ice cream. As the restaurant is popular, our granddaughter reserved a table for 6:30pm so we beat the crowd. We normally eat later than that but it turns out that this was a good strategy. The design of Yara is upscale and staff quite pleasant. Obviously, we'll be back.

Very high quality and very delicious food. Very good customer service!! We went at around 4pm on a Sunday, and we believe it was the owner who greeted us, was very lively and treated us very well. Good ambience. However during checkout, the owner had left, and a different waitress checked us out. The cost of the dishes in the check did not match the price in the menu. When asked, the waitress mentioned that they have new pricing that is still not updated in the paper menu, and would take a week to get updated menu. We were charged almost 30-40% higher than what was in the menu price. (Mix grill platter was $38 on the menu, but we were charged $55) We felt they could have been fair by charging the menu price until the prices are not reflected, or could have been honest upfront by mentioning that the pricing has changed and whatever is in the menu is not accurate.

I would have given 3.5, not because it's bad, but because it wasn't remarkable. The restaurant Lebanese wine was actually pretty good and I think we got bottles at $45-55 each, which was a very good deal. They were able to take a reservation for 6 on a Saturday night in December, and it was in a convenient neighborhood. It's loud and they occasionally turn the music up super loud to sing happy birthday (3 times in a 90 minutes were were there). The shwarma were served like sandwiches, not so great for sharing. The appetizers and lamb dishes were fine, but not remarkable. Oddly, one of the best things were the fries under one of the meat dishes. If you are in the neighborhood and want a bite to eat - go on in.

The food, even better. We shared the salad and the humus, and even the simplest thing was great. We booked Yara for our friend’s bridal shower. I have been in contact with the owner via text who had been amazing in coordinating, addressing all our concerns and questions and helped us decorating the semi private dining area with flowers, table for favors and theme matched table cloth (which they did not charge for!). The service was excellent, they were there for our needs and did not push/rush us. Food was delicious. Overall an amazing experience and the bridal shower was an absolute hit. I have to say, arranging the event became way easier because of the cooperation and warmth of owner and employees of Yara. Thankful; highly recommend it for events and meals.

If you are looking to host an event in Manhattan this is a hidden gem. After hosting more than 10 amazing events at Yara I had to express my sincere appreciation. The staff is extremely courteous and the chef himself asks for what else he can do to improve our experience. The cocktails were amazing and can be customized as well. Do visit the place.

Came here with friends and was very excited to try the food. Was very disappointed by the pita, which was cold. We asked the waiter for warmer pita and he warmed up the one we have and it was below average. We asked the waiter, if they had a different pita option and he just said no, brushed us off and walked away without trying to offer any alternatives or solutions. However, the manager came after and apologized about the pita and explained to us that it’s a traditional Lebanese one and they are working on improving it. The manager was very sweet.

Lovely restaurant, the decor and atmosphere are very welcoming! The food is a great twist of modern Mediterranean, they have so many tasty starters and unique dishes. Despite being busy, the servers provided outstanding service! Feriel, our waitress, made great food recommendations and explained everything which was very helpful because I'm not really familiar with Mediterranean food, but thanks to her l've learned a lot that day and I have a new favorite dish!! She was prompt, caring, and knowledgable about the food. The other waiter who was present that day, Charlie, was very friendly and welcoming. Props to the servers and the Chef of course for the amazing food! I'll definitely be back soon.

In midtown Manhattan comes this authentic Lebanese restaurant/Bar, not so common to find one in this area. They play Jazz every Wednesday night, which I went one night (no coverage) Food and drinks were good, excellent service and friendly staff. The menu includes options for group. There s a bar in the lower floor too. It's little pricey though.

Beautifully decorated restaurant. Staff was so pleasant and friendly. Really nice vibes. And everyone loved their food. We went as a group of 6. I recommend getting a reservation as the place filled up quickly after we got there at 7 on a Saturday night. They have quite a few large tables to accommodate groups. Many smaller tables as well - would be a good "date night" restaurant.

10/10 — this place had such a cozy family vibe, for a night it felt like I had escaped the city. Really good food, and incredible hibiscus mocktail. I ended up staying for very long with a friend and there was no rush. I could have sat there for so much longer! We got the mixed grill and it was so good!

Solid Ambience, amazing food, apt pricing, good decor, okay drinks and average service. Food was of top quality and taste, however main entrees lacked vegetarian options for dinner. They offer sandwiches (that had many vegetarian options) but only during lunch, not dinner. The two vegetarian options in entree did not seem appealing. They should consider adding sandwiches to menu for dinner. We were all vegetarians in our group and ended up having all mezze/starters to share and they were absolutely amazing. Drinks were strictly okay. Nothing special. Service was average, would expect it to be more attentive and friendly for the type of place.

Just Wow. This place is an absolute gem!!!! We came randomly. First of all they had the Kibbeh Nayeh it was delicious. Then we had the lefts and the shawarma beef and both were so good, they serve really big portions. Love this place
