Rental Policy

Please arrive 20-30 minutes prior to check-in and fill out your rental agreement, and go through a quick boat operation orientation. Late arrivals may not be able to be accommodated. Please note the following while enjoying your rental:

Winds in excess of 10 mph may not allow for the Donut boat umbrella to be up. In this case you are welcome to bring your own umbrellas.
Cancellations must be received via email 48 hours prior to your reservation date to get a refund. Email cc@capitalcruises.com
Lake conditions and the route may change daily and we will brief you on the current conditions. If weather is an issue, we will reach out to you in advance the day of to see if you would like a refund or to reschedule.
Ten (10) persons maximum allowed on the boat (including children and infants).
If you park at the hotel or at a city meter, be sure to pay to avoid being booted or towed.
Children 12 and under are required to wear life jackets the entire time. We have them to provide or you may provide your own so long as it is US Coast Guard certified and fits appropriately.
Swimming is prohibited in Lady Bird Lake.
No fireworks.
No fishing.
No smoking.
No pets.
You may bring any food or beverage that you like. Small coolers work the best to not take up leg room or block the view of other passengers.
You will be charged for any damage or loss of items in the boat that occur while the boat is in your possession. This includes propeller damage ($250), rescue fees ($100), and any resulting fiberglass damages ($1000+). A Credit Card will be required upon arrival or in advance and held during your rental period to cover any damages.
If your reservation is for a bright and sunny day we recommend bringing towels or blankets to sit on as the seats can get very warm.
