About Us
Reservation Genie offers a web-based solution to managing reservations that combines powerful marketing tools with unique customer relations management features. Unlike other reservation systems, using Reservation Genie requires no special hardware, no long term contracts, and no setup fees. In fact, you can try it out for two months free. You simply sign up for an account, configure your settings, connect your website, and you're ready to go. You're reservation inventory is instantly available to our members, your staff, your website visitors, webmasters, and local concierges who book through a private site, called Big Concierge.

Our Philosophy
We hear some reservation systems are charging you for traffic from your website? Then they charge you higher per person fees when the person books next time through their website? They're converting your customers to theirs and charging you for it! It just doesn't seem smart or fair. We never charge you for traffic from your website or our repeat users. We only charge reservation fees from concierges and partner sites. These reservations may cost a little more, but that's because we pay concierges and partner sites at least 50% of the fees they generate and that's why they use our system. The end result is that when we send an invoice, we only keep a fraction of the amount. You're not just paying us, you're paying your new partners. We just make it easy to manage.
General Features
Reservation Genie can be configured to work for just about any online reservation scenario. For example, you can configure Reservation Genie to enable Custom Preferences such as outdoor seating, bar area, and near fireplace. You can enable Customer Notes such as "This is our son John's birthday, please sing for him". A Schedule Over Ride tool allows you to disable traffic on holidays and blackout times for private parties. Our perks system enables you to Offer Incentives to come in during off peak hours or simply promote your happy hour. The Auto Confirm feature allows you to auto confirm all reservations, no reservations, or everything but large parties. A Maximum Party Size feature keeps you from getting large parties when you can't handle them. Those are just general features; use the menu to the left for specifics.

Notification Options
One of the features that makes Reservation Genie unique is that you don't need access to the internet to receive reservations. You can be notified of reservations via text message, automated phone call, email and any combination of these options. When reservations come in, you simply add them to the reservations book. Of course those are just options, the easiest way to use Reservation Genie is do away with the reservations book altogether. When you are logged into Reservation Genie, your reservations screen simply updates in real time with new reservations as they are made.

Concierge Tools
Reservation Genie evolved from a concierge referral program. Concierges use a private version of our site available at www.bigconcierge.com to book reservations. When they do, we charge a per person fee and split it with them so they make money sending you business (see pricing tab for details). We offer tools that allow you to invite local concierges to join your referral program and rebate our portion of the concierge fees if you do. You can also create and post concierge booking contests that show up in their news feed as well as in their contest summary screen. Plus you can offer their guests perks AND save them tables for short notice reservations.

Social Media Tools
You've heard about businesses using Myspace and Facebook to promote themselves. Now there's something called Twitter? If you're wondering how you can build a presence on these sites and why you should use them, we can help. The reason to use them is simple, it's free marketing and almost everybody in the world is a member of at least one these major sites. When customers book reservations at your venue, they are encouraged to share that info with their friends on Facebook using Facebook Connect. And we also help them connect with you on Twitter and Myspace too. All you have to do is enter your business URL for these sites and Reservation Genie does the rest!

Customer Relationship Management Tools
Getting to know your customers helps you deliver a personal experience. With Reservation Genie you can store notes on customers, see their reservation history, and have it readily available to your entire staff every time the customer returns. Notes are easily accessible just by hovering over customer names in your Reservations Screen. And when customers call in a reservation on the phone, you can invite them to connect to your account simply by entering their email address with the reservation info. The long term effect is a history of useful information at your fingertips.

VIP Tools
Using our optional VIP Rewards program enables you to offer special discounts and short notice reservations to customers who visit your venue frequently. Customers earn points for booking at your venue and when they earn enough points, they become VIP for the rest of the month and the following month. Being VIP gives them access to discounts that you configure. To maintain their VIP status, they simply have to return to your venue frequently. The program is unique in that it gives discounts to customers for patronizing YOUR business specifically as opposed to just using our website like other reservation systems. It caters to people who book large parties and helps keep those large parties coming back.

Affiliate Sites
The Reservation Genie affiliate program is the highest paying program available, paying nearly 10 times more than competing programs. Don't worry, we don't charge you 10 times more, we just share more. This compels local webmasters to write reviews about your business and add reservation links to their review so they can earn money while promoting you. The result is a growing incentive for websites to talk about you in a positive way and boost your online presence. Affiliates love our program because it offers them tools to track and optimize their performance, which in turn increases your results.

Reporting Features
Understanding where your traffic comes from is a critical component to growing any business. Our reporting tools enable you to track reservations from concierges, patrons, and affiliate sites so you know exactly who sends you business. Reservation Genie automatically generates reports that you can sort and filter to extract useful information such as when you stopped receiving traffic from a particular hotel. Plus you can filter that data over time to measure changes in advertising programs and the effects of concierge contests.

Pricing
Reservation Genie has a low monthly fee of only $49 per month. Unlike other reservation systems, we never charge you for traffic from your website or repeat customers. We do have a per person referral fee for traffic from concierges and partner sites that we split with those parties to encourage them to send you new business. The fee is $2 per person for restaurant reservations and 10% of the average tour price for tour reservations. It may sound a little high, but we only charge you if the customer shows up!
